Description

This unit is Located on the Second floor in the C building. It is a 2 Bedroom 2 bath unit that has a King in the master bedroom with a walk in closet and a large double sink master bathroom with a updated walk in shower. It also has 3 large windows that are side by side to view the gulf. The guest bedroom has 2 double beds and a view of the gulf. Living room has plenty of windows to watch the waves roll on shore. Kitchen has granite countertops and is fully equipped with dishes and pots/pans for your use. Washer and Dryer in Unit. Tile throughout unit except for carpet in bedrooms.

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.

Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!

Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).

Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.

Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:

- Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard

- Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!

- Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.

- S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

Silver Dunes #C1203 Thanksgiving 2023

Although the weather is always unpredictable, we love staying at Silver Dunes at Thanksgiving. Our gulf front unit gives us both the beautiful sunrises and sunsets and is perfect for our family. LOVE SILVER DUNES!!!

We LOVE Silver Dunes!

Unfortunately, our vacation fell during the week of bad storms and the week of crazy and unbelievable seaweed. To add to that, the airline lost our luggage! BUT, we were still so thankful to be at Silver Dunes. Watching the storms was an interesting new activity. The condo was perfect and relaxing and the staff and management team could not have been more helpful! Already ready for the next trip to our favorite place to be!

Silver Dunes is a Favorite !

The location and layout gives optimum beach visual . Very nice unit . The decor was dated . The dryer needs to be replaced . Otherwise , great memories made .

Always A Pleasure!!

This has been my home away from home for over 45 years!! It gets better every visit! This year was different due to George Noble's retirement from the beach service...he's been there since the beginning (1975) for me. The new guys will make the adjustment and get to know everyone personally because that is what everyone loves about Silver Dunes...you're treated like family...everyone knows your name! All of our needs are always (including this year) addressed promptly and with a friendly and professional attitude. I highly recommend this place that has been part of our family for four generations now. My parents brought us here as kids and now my grandson has already made his second visit and he's only 18 months old!!

Thanksgiving 2019

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving, again, at Silver Dunes. This was our 9th year for spending our Thanksgiving week there. Silver Dunes is, by far, the best place for a family to stay in Destin.
We will keep going back as long as we are able.

Beautiful Condo and the Location is great.

The condo is the perfect setting for a great vaca. Great location, in the middle of restaurants and things to do. It's a small complex, but that's what we like about it. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Family trip

Our unit was not as clean as in years past. There was sand in our sheets when we got into bed the first night. We were disappointed that there is no longer a towel exchange. We like the new evening activities. As always the beach was great and George and staff took care of all of our beach needs. We will be back.

Perfect Beach Destination!

This place is wonderful! The office staff are the nicest people you’d ever want to meet and bend over backwards to make things easy on you! The beach service is second to none, and the location is fabulous! The beach is beautiful, in crowded, and you’re a short walk from the Back Porch restaurant! The condominium we stayed in was beautiful and well maintained with a beautiful view! Our favorite restaurants were 10 minutes away! Highly recommend Silver Dunes!!

Home Away From Home

As always, Silver Dunes does not disappoint! First time staying in the end unit and love the morning views. We definitely will be staying in the beach view units again next year. Unit C 1203 had everything we needed for our week in Destin. Nicely decorated with all the amenities needed. Beautiful weather all week long. George and his crew, excellent service as always. We have been staying at Silver Dunes over the last 25+ years! Love our home away from home. Thanks Silver Dunes!
