Enjoy beachfront living during your stay at this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental condo in Destin! The condo is located in the gated community, Silver Dunes Condominiums and is perfect for up to 8 guests. This unit is located in the B building on the 3rd floor. This gulf front unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a king bed with a walk in closet and its own large private bath with double sinks. There is also 3 large side by side windows to give a panoramic view of the gulf! The guest bedroom has 2 queen beds. Living room has a sleeper sofa. The kitchen as granite counter tops and is fully equipped with dishes and pots/pans for your use. Unit also has a washer and dryer. Non Smoking

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.

Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!

Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).

Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.

Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:

- Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard

- Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!

- Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.

- S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

Silver Dunes Vacay

My family has been coming to Silver Dunes for over 8 yrs. The outside property and condo units have always been consistently maintained.

Can't wait to return!

The condo itself was the perfect location for my family and I. We wanted a place walking distance to the beach with a great view and this unit gave just that. It was nicely decorated and clean. The balcony view was beautiful. Each room had a view of the beach! We enjoyed our stay and loved that the Condominium was low key, no crowds. Our beach had the least amount of chairs out so we all had a front seat to the water.

Only downside, the TV would freeze and not work. My husband and son were not happy about this. And I wish coffee, and coffee filters were provided like most places.

Relaxing

We love sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful beach. The decor was nice and comfortable. I loved having an entire kitchen cabinet to renters.
The outdoor furniture cushions were stained and the frame had sagged. It appeared that a new set of balcony furniture would further enhance the condo.

Fantastic room and view

We had such a great time.
Beautiful sunrise and sunsets every day.
Being able to see the beach from our room was such a great treat. We saw dolphins and pelicans everyday swimming and flying by.
The room was in great condition. The staff was always helpful and kind.

2022 trip

We have stayed at Silver Dunes for years because of its size, location and wonderful beach. It’s nice be on the beach with the family and not feel cramped like other facilities in the area.

Destin Dunes

Lovely rental; perfect view ; wonderful location:
Suggestions: less Knick knacks throughout; especially kitchen as renter would enjoy a few empty cabinets for groceries;; also, management needs to be aware if each major applicance is in working order: possible small tall table with 2 chairs for patio..

November beach

We had a great time! Unit needs some new silverware and pillows, other than that it is very, very comfortable. There is plenty of seating, outstanding view!

spring break 2019

overall the trip was very nice. The Silver Dunes is a long time favorite of our family and the exterior is being very well maintained. Our unit was tired. The bathrooms especially and some furnishings could use updating.

A great week on the NW Florida Coast!

We love the property in general and have been coming here for at least 25 years. This unit is great and nicely appointed, directly facing the Gulf. The added benefit to Silver Dunes is the superior service provided by the beach time, i.e. George and his associates.
