The rental was well situated to the beach (about 50 yards, as stated). The walk to the beach was nice and mostly grass, so no shoes were needed. The grass courtyard was lively, and children of all ages played in it. The unit was clean, stocked, and well-maintained.

Love Silver Dunes...a grand old lady...took my children here in the 80’s...now my grandchildren for their first beach trip! We had a ground floor condo which was perfect for 3...ages 12 months to almost 5. The great green space, lovely patio and short walk to the best beach were perfect for everyone! My only complaint about my unit were the beds. The mattresses slept like back in the 80’s. I have a massage scheduled! The unit was adequate, somewhat dated but comfortable for 2 ladies and 3 girls! We will be back next fall break.

Upon arrival, discovered the TV in the living room did not work. After a quick call, the tv was replaced the next day. Appreciate the prompt service on getting a replacement. The only improvement opportunity would be the cleanliness of the patio area. Just behind the wall was food and pizza crust thrown on the ground.

Outstay was perfection! Silver Dunes provided the perfect vacation spot for our family. We rented 3 condos in A and my sister rented 3 in D. So our families were across the huge, open green space. It was perfect for our many toddler grandchildren to play together while parents and grandparents could keep a watchful eye. With the pool on one end and the beach on the other, it was easy to enjoy either. The condos are great. They are not “big” spaces but out time was spent outdoors most of the time. We stayed in A104, 105 and 106 and they were all just great. I’ve learned after coming for several years to bring some of my own sharp knives from home, and my girls bring an InstaPot and Crock Pot because we don’t eat out with so littles. The location of Silver Dunes is perfect with every retail store you might need within 1-2 miles. It’s one of the few locations that is not a high rise which would not work for our young grandchildren. So easy
To bring your beach cart and easily transport all your gear to the beach. We LOVE it and will never stay anywhere else!

The space was as described. Great location to the pool and beach without traffic. The kids enjoyed the grassy courtyard for playing outside.

Excellent stay in Destin! Great weather the staff and services were top notch. Manager Derek Matthews was extremely helpful in making some changes to our future reservations and the beach service staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to our needs. Overall, a wonderful experience ��

Unit 106A was perfect for our group. It is centrally located, close to the pool and the beach. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was not working, called management, went to breakfast, returned and it was already replaced. You can't ask for quicker service than that. The only complaint about our trip, the pool was so cold. It said it was a heated pool but it was not. Loved our stay at the Silver Dunes and will return.

The condo was spectacular. Everything was spotless and included a new dishwasher, refrigerator as well as some updated furnishing. We so look forward to our trips to Destin and intend to return as often as we can. No better spot on the beach!

Destin is our favorite beach vacation destination and Silver Dunes has been our choice for over 40 years. This year we had a few issues with the cleanliness of our condo upon our arrival; however, they were all addressed immediately by front office management to our satisfaction which resulted in our “as usual” wonderful vacation experience!

Silver Dunes is such a wonderful place for a family vacation - the court yard is so unique, the beach is beautiful, there are fun activities thru the week - like s'mores night, and the location is near everything!
