Freshly renovated 1BR/1BA Unit 3 conveniently located on the first floor of the Penthouse building right near pool, barbeque area and laundry room. Unit #3 has a new queen sofa sleeper to accommodate additional guests. Kitchen has new stainless steel appliances - including full size stove, oven,dishwasher- and nice bar seating for 4. Flat screen TVs are located in living room and bedroom. Unit #3 has tile flooring in main area and carpet in bedroom with new queen mattress and bed. Bath has backlit LED mirror with new vanity and shower. Fresh décor and coziness of unit is sure to make your beach stay extra special and comfortable. The beautiful Emerald Coast beach is a short, easy walk from Unit #3

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.

Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!

Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).

Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.

Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:

- Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard

- Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!

- Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.

- S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

Stay at SilverDunes Condos

We had an enjoyable stay in our condo at Silver Dunes. We were very satisfied with the condo and its furnishings. The location to the beach was excellent. We will definitely stay there on our return trip to Destin.

Wish we could have stayed all summer!

Was a regular at Silver Dunes for years, but haven't had the opportunity to be back in a while. We decided a last minute trip for my wife and I, and it once again did not disappoint. Love the family environment. Love the fact that the beach isn't rows deep with chairs. Close to the water, and the room was perfect. Hope to come back next year!

Close to perfect

Great room! Great views!! Everything you need to feel at home! The only downside, plan an extra 30 mins in the shower!! Water pressure is close to nothing! Having long hair, nightmare to wash/condition.

Excellent Unit!

Unit 3 was a very nice unit, recently updated. We had a great time and no issues. Easy in and out.
Always love staying at Silver Dunes. We would request this unit again.

Silver Dunes beach condo

Very good. Condo had what we wanted, small but only two of us. Have stayed at this condo for many years. Great location and close to restaurants and shopping.

Very Nice Couple Getaway

This was a short stay visiting family staying in C1203 for 30 days. Their condo was full so this was a nice quiet getaway that gave us privacy. It is upgraded so the decor is very current. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Great place!

Amazing place to stay! Couldn’t ask for a better location to shops and restaurants. Silver Dunes itself is soooo nice. Walk right out to gear landscaping on the grounds. Pool and common area are well kept. Wish we could exchange our towels more, we are the beach so every other day is ideal. Room itself was a great setup for us and very nicely decorated.

Another Great week

We have been coming to Silver Dunes for over 30 years now. We have stayed in many different rooms. We always have at 3 to 8 families go the same week. A great place for kids and families. On occasions we have had some concerns such as room advertised with a washer dryer did not have them. This year the condo above us was leaking water on my bed, AC not working correctly. In all cases the management was very understanding and fixed the issues. So after 30 years only 3 concerns here at Silver Dunes. Great Staff, which also includes George, the engineers, and lawn staff. Come to Silver Dunes and feel the breeze that you expect.

Short stay but wonderful

Although we could only stay for 3 nights, we had a great time. Silver Dunes has been and is a great place to stay. Best beach ever, great location, clean and friendly.

Great week!!!!

Me and my family had a blast! Staff was super sweet and helpful. Only complaint was our shower would not drain water fully
